Join us this summer for a family friendly programme of events and activities inspired by people and portraits. From storytelling in the galleries to photography workshops and creative hands-on activities, there will be lots to make and do!
Workshops will take place in the Learning Centre on Floor -2.
All activities are free and drop in. Capacity is limited, first come first served.
When you arrive, head to our Family Desk on Floor 0 to see what’s on and pick up one of our fun family activity trails.
A lunch and break out space can be found in the Clore Studio on Floor -3 in the Learning Centre.

Mould, shape, play and create your own clay mask to hang in your home. Inspired by the faces that decorate our walls, take home a small piece that can decorate yours.

Led by animator extraordinaire Reza Ben Gajra, create your own self-portrait and bring it to life in a short animated film.

Draw your own miniature portrait and create your own pin badge to wear as you explore the gallery.

Clore Studio -
Come along and hear the wonderful story of Ada Lovelace, inventor of the first computer programme! Join storyteller Olivia Armstrong as she tells you an incredible tale in this interactive storytelling performance.
