In this event, hear how the exhibition showcases new ways to look at the Francesca Woodman and Julia Margaret Cameron’s work, exploring shared themes of self-portraiture and identity, the conjuring of a dream space, mythology, nature and femininity.

Magdalene Keaney is Curator of Francesca Woodman and Julia Margaret Cameron: Portraits to Dream In. She was formerly Senior Curator of Photographs at the National Portrait Gallery, where she curated numerous displays and exhibitions and led the Photographs team toward the major 'Inspiring People' re-display. She is currently a Curator at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra.
