These intimate art weekends enable you to explore, develop and improve your creativity. Working alongside leading artists and photographers, take inspiration from the Gallery and look at portraiture in new, exciting ways. Class numbers are limited to 12. Over 18s only. All materials are provided.

Artist Robin-Lee Hall leads a two-day workshop focusing on Hockney’s prolific use of drawing from life to explore different ideas, techniques, materials and sitters. Participants will draw themselves and a model, experimenting with various drawing tools including ink and colour pencil, as well as looking at the artist's more recent iPad drawings. At the weekend there will be trips into the exhibition for inspiration. All materials are provided. Suitable for those with some experience of drawing.
