These intimate art weekends enable you to explore, develop and improve your creativity. Working alongside leading artists and photographers, take inspiration from the Gallery and look at portraiture in new, exciting ways. Class numbers are limited to 12. All materials are provided.

Have you always wanted to have a go at portrait painting but are just too scared to try? Join portrait painter, Robin-Lee Hall for a no nonsense practical painting workshop working from images in the Collection. Participants will learn how to draw out a face with the correct proportions, as well as mixing and blending skin tones in oil paint. By the end of the course participants will have a basic ‘toolkit’ of skills to take future portraits forward.
