Celebrating a century of children's literature, this exhibition features popular writers and writer-illustrators who have created some of our most enduring fictional characters. Sitters featured include Beatrix Potter, Frances Hodgson Burnett, A.A. Milne, Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, Raymond Briggs and J.K. Rowling. The exhibition contains works in a variety of media including a 'Reading Corner' and 'Listening Tree', making it enjoyable for both children and adults. An accompanying book features over 50 biographies and is illustrated throughout. Priced £15 hardback.
During the exhibition the Portrait Café will be offering a special Kids Menu for £3.99 consisting of a soft drink, a ginger bread man, ricecrispy cake, jellies and kiddies sandwiches.
