Novelist Ali Smith delivers the T. Edward Carpenter Lecture on Jane Austen. In partnership with Jane Austen's House Museum.

Ali Smith was born in Inverness in 1962 and lives in Cambridge.  Her fiction has been translated into 40 languages.  Her most recent novel is Spring (Hamish Hamilton 2019).
