Ken Russell's drama Dante's Inferno (1967) was produced for the BBC’s Omnibus series and first aired in 1967. It tells of the complex relationship between Dante Gabriel Rossetti (Oliver Reed) and Elizabeth Siddal (Judith Paris) and features many of the other figures included in the current exhibition Pre-Raphaelite Sisters.
