Rachel Wang, Co-Founder of Chocolate Films, introduces the latest cinema programme from the multi award-winning 1000 Londoners project, Windrush Generations. Windrush Generations is a unique collection of video portraits of people who travelled to London from the Commonwealth Caribbean between the 40s and 60s, and the generations who have followed. The screening will be followed by a short panel discussion about the legacy of the Windrush Generations, with Rachel Wang and several of featured Londoners.

Rachel Wang co-founded Chocolate Films in 2001 and has produced and directed many of its films. She is a Creative Director of 1000 Londoners, a large scale digital portrait of the city made up of 1000 short documentaries. She is also a member of Film London’s Film Hub Panel, a Fellow of the RSA, and a Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery. She recently won ‘Women in Social Enterprise’ at the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2018.
