Kate Fox (b.1975) is a Northern spoken word artist, poet and comedian. She trained as a journalist and radio reporter. She recently made two comedy shows for Radio 4 called The Price of Happiness. Her community projects and residencies include; Writer in Residence at Feversham College, Bradford for the charity First Story, BBC1’s The Great North Passion and Poet in Residence for the Great North Run.

This photograph reflects Fox’s interests in the boundaries between written poetry and performance as well as the traditional and digital distribution of poetry.
