Martina Cole

Since her first novel Dangerous Lady (1992), Essex-born crime writer Cole has published seventeen others, mainly set in London's gangster underworld. They have all become bestsellers and as of 2011, her worldwide book sales totalled over 10 million copies, with her novels translated into twenty-nine languages. Four of her books have been made into popular television dramas and Two Women (1999) was adapted for the stage in 2010. Following the success of her television series Martina Cole's Lady Killers (2008), Cole launched the production company 2Queens to develop further projects. Her novel The Life was published in September 2012.
