George Glover was one of the best native engravers working in the reign of Charles I. He chiefly worked for London print publishers such as Robert Peake, Thomas Banks, John Hinde and Peter Stent. The only plate that Glover published himself was a portrait of Queen Henrietta Maria after a painting by van Dyck.
