The Kit-Cat Club portrait. He holds the lord chamberlain’s wand. This appears to be the earliest of the Kit-Cat portraits.
A copy at Knole was listed in 1929 [1] and Vertue listed an ‘Earl of Dorsett ½ by Kneller’ at Wimpole. [2]
