John Edward Nassau Molesworth is the great grandfather of both Lady Hogg née Cecilia Margaret Molesworth (born 1914) and Margaret Patricia Molesworth (died 1984). He is the father of the engineer Sir Guilford Lindsay Molesworth (died 1925), and his brother, William Nassau Molesworth (died 1890), the priest and historian.
