Maude Maitland Dalzell, married to Ronald Dalzell, 12th Earl of Carnwath (1883–1931) has been given the birth surname of Savile in your index, as has both she and her father in the Peerage genealogy books..
She was born Maude Maitland Savill in Campbelltown, South Australia, and her father is listed as John Eden Savill, and was well known in the colony by that name, no other spelling.
Is the spelling Savile of later adoption or a typographical error? Her older sister Vivienne was named Savill when she married Lucien J. Jerome on 12 September 1899, which supports the latter case. (Jerome was British Consul to Mexico and the only son of Henry Edward Jerome VC. (1830–1901))
I hope this helps.
