Yes. My parents were good friends in the late 60s. For their wedding present, EW asked my father to choose a painting from his studio in the Richmond (Surrey) area. He chose 'The Nude'- the painting has been with me all my life and will be passed on going forward - priceless.
ps My Mother said he had the most amazing hair in those days!!
